Vision

The POTHU MARUTHUVAM department is one of the core clinical branches in siddha medicine, focusing on the diagnosis and management of general medical conditions affecting adults. It deals with prevention, diagnosis, dietary regimen and treatment of Vadham,Pitham and Kapham disorders and all systemic disorders described in siddha treatment while also integrating relevant modern medical knowledge for patients care.

The POTHU MARUTHUVAM department handles mukkutra noi, fever, respiratory disorders, digestive disorders, metabolic disorders, joint and musculoskeletal disorders, lifestyle disorders, endocrinology and controlling autoimmune disorders.

Providing high-quality teaching:
The department focuses on delivering comprehensive knowledge of human anatomy to students, including gross anatomy, histology, and embryology.
