CONCLUSION :
The field trip to the botanical garden offered a comprehensive learning experience on the diversity of medicinal plants and their importance in healthcare. Observing raw drug sources in their natural habitat helped strengthen practical knowledge of pharmacognosy.
The process of herbarium collection provided insight into scientific documentation and preservation techniques. The interactive session with the Siddha traditional doctor enriched the understanding of traditional medicine, showcasing how natural remedies are prepared and their continued relevance in modern times.
Such field visits play a vital role in bridging theoretical knowledge with practical application and inspire further interest in research and conservation of medicinal plants.
